The 44th edition of FITUR 2024 has been a resounding success, attracting more than 250,000 visitors, including 153,000 professionals, representing a 13.7% increase compared to the previous year. This remarkable event of the International Tourism Trade Fair received strong support from the tourism sector and significant backing from governmental entities. Held in Madrid, it stood out for its global reach with the participation of 152 countries and 96 official delegations, thus reflecting the growth of global tourism. FITUR 2024 set a new record in exhibition space, expanding to nine pavilions. With 9,000 participating companies, 806 exhibitors, and ten sections dedicated to different tourism segments, the fair demonstrated its importance in the sector. In addition, it was attended by the Kings of Spain, world leaders, and more than 400 authorities, reinforcing its prestige. The fair generated extensive media coverage, with more than 37,000 news items and the presence of over 6,800 journalists. IFEMA MADRID is already preparing for FITUR 2025, which will be held from January 22 to 26, with Mexico as the partner country.
